Hair Transplant Cost

In recent years hair transplant costs have reduced dramatically and have become much better value for money. The cost of hair grafts has also reduced greatly, while at the same time the skill and experience of the doctors and surgeons involved in the procedures has increased significantly. This means that the quality of the hair transplants has also increased greatly.

This in turn means that the better hair transplant clinics are able to carry out more and larger surgical sessions which in turn means that they are able to offer improved hair transplant cost efficiencies to their patients, whilst at the same time offer better results in the form of thicker and fuller hair transplants.

The advent of the internet has of course helped to offer more competition and the ability to price shop online has also helped to keep prices down. Of course, no one is denying that hair transplant costs remain expensive, but it should be remembered that they can offer the best hair restoration value, and they offer results which are both natural looking and life-long.

It should also be a consideration when making any decision regarding your hair loss treatment that it is often the case that the cost of non surgical treatments like a hair piece or medication can very often exceed  hair transplant costs. If, for example, you choose a hair system, like a hair piece, it can cost on average $1200, it also needs to be replaced every year, and on occasion will need reattached, and then every 6 to 8 weeks will need to be regrouped. All this will cost about $80 or so at a go. When you add all of this up over the course of several years and compare it to a surgical hair transplant cost, then you will find that the purchase of a hair piece or system will in fact far exceed that of a hair transplant procedure.

It is often hard to hand over a large amount of money all in one go, but when you think of it as an investment and see what it could save you over the years, not to mention the time that you would save by not having to go to the salon to have the reattachment and grooming done, then you would see that it is in fact good value for money. Of course, the final hair transplant cost will very much depend on the type of procedure you select, the amount of hair restoration you require, and the clinic you select to carry out the work.

There is of course one final option, and that is to shave your head completely, which will not only save you the money in surgical fees, but you wouldn’t have to buy shampoo ever again, or visit a hair salon and talk about the weather!!
